Doing Life Together

Small Groups are an essential part of our church, as they provide a place where community and support for one another can take place. Considering that the early church worshiped in large settings in the synagogues as well as in homes, we unite together similarly in order to deepen our connection with God and each other. This "each other" is called His Church. Thus, we intentionally strive toward community through men's/women's groups, home gatherings, Sunday classes and other personal settings.

We make time to study the Bible because it is the most direct way to get to know God. We believe that God is the most fascinating person in the universe. Learning who he is, what he has created, why he cares about mankind, and what he would like us to do in return for all the gifts he gives us can take a lifetime of study.

Everything in society today teaches us to use our talents for ourselves – make a lot of money, retire, be comfortable and die. That’s the dream. But deep down inside we know we were made for more than that. We know instinctively that there is a bigger purpose in life.

Serving a need in our community addresses that need to make a lasting difference in the lives of others. Serving with those we study and share life with is one of the best ways to discover who God made us to be and why he placed us on the earth.
