About Us
Who we are
Here's the deal, at New Hope we care about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ. Our church is a community of individuals who have found hope in Jesus, who offers hope and life to any who would trust Him. That simple trust leads to a freedom and joy that is able to sustain you even in the most difficult of circumstances.
Where we're from
New Hope Christian Church was started in 1979 by a small group of people who imagined a church that was truly welcoming to everyone - where everyone had a seat at the table regardless of personal history, family background, ethnicity, or gender. New Hope hosted its first gathering in 1981.
Where we're headed
We are continually aware of God's grace that daily speaks into our brokenness and calls us to something better. We are continually experimenting on the best ways for people to find a place to truly belong and grow in community. We believe the future of the church is the people of New Hope loving their neighbors and being intentional with what we each have been blessed with.

The First Step
Do you believe that Jesus is your Lord and Savior? At New Hope, we believe this is the most important question you will answer in your lifetime.
Why Should I Join New Hope?
- Membership is a demonstration of your commitment to Jesus and to the church’s core beliefs, values, and mission.
- Becoming a member allows you to serve in more ways at New Hope.
- Membership is an important first step to greater involvement in the powerful work God is doing here.
How Do I join?
Come forward at the end of the worship service or indicate on your communication card your desire to become a member. You will be asked to fill out a membership agreement which makes it official.
Requirements For Membership
- Believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior. (John 3:16; Eph. 2:8-9)
- Repent of your sins. (Acts 3:19)
- Confess your faith. (Rom. 10:9)
- Baptized by immersion. (Acts 2:38)
- Agree with mission and core values of New Hope.
- Sign a Membership Agreement
