CAMP ILLIANA

Camp Illiana was established in 1949 as a non-profit Christian Camp Ministry. They are an association of a large group of Christian Churches in Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky. Over the years, camp has grown with the addition of year round modern lodges, full worship center, and a beautiful large pavilion. Many activities, including challenge ropes courses, zip lines, giant swing, lake, blob, rock walls, pools, paintball courses, plus dozens of other activities are offered for our guests. Over 100,000 people have experienced transformative summer camp experiences with the support of many volunteers, churches, and families leading thousands to new life following Jesus. CHRISTIAN CAMPUS FELLOWSHIP - VINCENNES UNIVERSITY

Christian Campus Fellowship is a non-denominational ministry, to the students of Vincennes University. CCF is unique in its own way, in that we are the only campus ministry that offers Christian housing for the students at VU. This provides a refuge and a place to hang out and get away from the pressures of college life. Through all that we do, we hope to show that there is an alternative to what the world is pushing.

THE POWERHOUSE

Located in Washington, Indiana, The PowerHouse exists to build relationships with junior high and high school youth in order to share the Gospel. Doors are open from 3pm - 6pm Monday through Friday (with the exception of Wednesday, closing at 5:30pm), for anyone in 7th - 12th grade. Volunteer forms and donation information are available on their website, www.washingtonpowerhouse.org.

Connections

Connections links people and service providers throughout the county by maintaining a database of information on available community resources and providing contact information for a broad range of services. Numerous service providers (PACE, Salvation Army, Feed My Sheep, St. Vincent and Trustees) as well as area churches refer calls for assistance to Connections. Connections in turn completes an application with the caller to identify the need for assistance, current work history, residential history, household members and income, then verifies the information and tries to find resources that can help the family. Connections maintains a database of all calls and applications which helps identify the number of times the person has requested and received assistance. Their goal is to reduce the occurrence of duplication of services and minimize the misuse and exploitation of the limited resources in Daviess County. Connections does not give out monetary assistance. Learn more at www.dcpconnections.org
